Basic beliefs

We believe:

There is one God (Eph. 4:6)

There is one Lord (Eph. 4:5)

There is one Spirit (the Holy Spirit—Eph. 4:4).

There is one body which is the church of Christ (Eph. 4:4; 1:22,23)

There is one faith (objective in nature—the Word of God, Eph. 4:5)

There is one baptism (immersion in water-Eph. 4:5)

There is one hope (everlasting life—Eph. 4:4).

Worship must be directed to God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)

Singing in worship should be without the accompaniment of musical instruments. The use of instruments of music in worship is not authorized by the New Testament

The Lord’s Supper should be taken on the Lord’s Day (Sunday) as a part of the worship assembly

The work of the church involves evangelism, edification and benevolence.

The mission of the church is to seek and save those outside of Christ.

The Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant and infallible Word.
